CARATTERISTICHE DELLA RIVISTA
La rivista Arti dello Spettacolo / Performing Arts (ASPA) ospita saggi di taglio scientifico, non di carattere giornalistico o divulgativo.
La rivista ASPA è aperta ad accogliere tematiche relative al teatro, alla danza, alla scenografia, al costume di scena, alle problematiche della conservazione museale ed espositiva, ma anche all’applicazione delle nuove tecnologie digitali per la creazione di piattaforme, ecosistemi documentali, musei virtuali nel dominio delle arti dello spettacolo al fine di individuare punti di contatto con le altri arti figurative, letterarie, musicali e le Applied Sciences. Essa è disponibile ad ospitare anche argomenti relativi alla conservazione e alla esposizione dei beni culturali delle arti dello spettacolo.
I contributi possono presentare un’impostazione interdisciplinare, a patto che il teatro e le arti dello spettacolo costituiscano un asse importante del discorso.
La rivista ASPA pubblica materiali utili agli studiosi quali interviste a drammaturghi, attori, registi, documenti, scritti e altri materiali, ritenuti interessanti, che sono escluse dall’obbligo della revisione e recensione.
Solitamente ogni numero della rivista presenta una prima sezione con i contributi scientifici, che hanno ottenuto valutazione positiva dopo il double blind peer review, e una sezione Focus, che ospita approfondimenti o temi di particolare interesse, non necessariamente inerenti al tema monografico del numero e non sottoposti a revisione.
Altri numeri presentano le sezioni “Experiences”, “Case Study”, “Working in progress” che raccolgono testimonianze e riflessioni su particolari esperienze teorico-pratiche, studi sperimentali, casi di studio e altri materiali, ritenuti di particolare interesse per gli studiosi ma separati, anche cromaticamente e ben distinti, dalla prima parte dedicata ai soli contributi rigorosamente scientifici.

Arti dello Spettacolo/Performing Arts (ASPA) Journal presents scientific, non-journalistic or popular essays.
ASPA Journal welcomes issues related to theatre, dance, scenography, stage costume, the problems of museum and exhibition conservation, and the application of new digital technologies to create platforms, documental ecosystems, and virtual museums in the domain of the performing arts. This interdisciplinary opening aims to identify points of contact with other disciplines: e.g. visual arts, literature, music, Applied Sciences and so on.
Topics related to the conservation and exhibition of the cultural heritage of the performing arts are welcome.
Contributions may present an interdisciplinary approach, provided that theatre and the performing arts constitute a vital axis of the discourse.
ASPA Journal publishes functional materials for scholars, such as interviews with playwrights, actors, directors, documents, writings and other materials deemed attractive, excluded from the obligation of revision and review.
Usually, each Issue of the Journal presents the first section with scientific contributions, which obtained positive evaluation after the double-blind peer review, and a Focus section, which hosts in-depth studies or topics of particular interest, not necessarily related to the monographic theme of the issue and not submitted for revision.
Other issues of ASPA Journal present the sections “Experiences”, “Case Study”, and “Working in progress”, which collect testimonies and reflections on particular theoretical-practical experiences, experimental studies, case studies and other materials considered of particular interest to scholars but separated, also chromatically and distinct, from the first part dedicated solely to strictly scientific contributions.
